In this dynamic competition\, law and economics students are challenged to put their knowledge to the test before expert panels of lawyers and economists specializing in competition and regulation. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n About the Competition\nEach participating team must defend a position as either the plaintiff or the defendant in a fictional case that tackles controversial issues in competition law and regulation. The event is designed to develop the participants’ skills in multidisciplinary teamwork\, requiring a solid grasp of legal principles alongside economic theory and practical analytical techniques. \nOver the course of eight editions\, the Moot has attracted students from at least 12 Peruvian universities—both public and private—as well as participants from Argentina\, Chile\, Colombia\, Costa Rica\, Ecuador\, Spain\, Guatemala\, Mexico\, and Paraguay.
